Neil is a PhD‑qualified physicist specialising in applied optics and photonics, with extensive experience in research, development, and technical innovation.
His current work focuses on the design and engineering of advanced LED lighting instruments and whole‑of‑room tuneable‑spectrum systems spanning UV–VIS–NIR.
Alongside this, Neil is actively exploring the application of Artificial Intelligence across science, engineering, and creative domains. A major strand of this work involves reframing aspects of quantum physics through AI‑assisted analysis and conceptual modelling, addressing limitations in the standard model and opening pathways to new pedagogical tools
His combined expertise in optics, safety, AI, and scientific communication positions him uniquely for collaborative projects at the intersection of technology, education, and conceptual innovation.
